I'll trade you Foucault for Weber and throw in an unsolved homicide for good measure


When I was a kid, the only trading cards I dealt in were Garbage Pail Kids. Those things were cool! But now that I'm a grown-up intellectual, it's time to start trading the big stuff. Enter, Theory Trading Cards from Theory.org.uk. These handy little summaries may be one of the best (and nerdiest) take-aways from my Sociological Theory class this fall. Thanks, Joe!

It seems that social theory buffs aren't the only ones using cards to further their goals. As a frequent visitor to the Minnesota Department of Corrections website, I've discovered that the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has launched a new playing card initiative to try and help solve cold cases. Peruse the Cold Case Playing Cards online and maybe just help bring some long overdue justice...
